Violin, or the fiddle as it is also known, is an instrument that eludes to the highest form of melody and music. I met Kippy playing the fiddle on Market street and had quite a variety of tunes to his collection.

Craig with his Clarinet and Saxophone is not new to my readers. I have now known him for about three or four months now. This is the first time where I found Craig in completely different color! More sombre and more serious in his black attire.

The Pipa is a very traditional ancient instrument dating back to about 200 BC. Dan Dan also plays other stringed instruments, however the day I met her in Chinatown, she was entertaining the crowds with her melodious tunes on her pipa.

The musicians who I have been meeting and photographing for the last one year has more to think of than just music. Playing on the streets and attracting the law keepers is in itself a big challenge. While normally the policemen do not prevent the musicians from playing, it is not so legal to earn money like that. In a way, that act becomes very similar to peddling or hawking, and hence illegal.
