Update: San Francisco Street Artists (0507-001) on Photoduniya.com

He did not want to be named, so I will go with the anonymous. He plays an oriental 2 stringed instrument called the Ehru. The Chinese have played and perfected this instrument from as early as 100 B.C.  Played much like the violin, the Ehru however has a unique construction. The sound-box used to be made of serpent skin in its original construction, which gave the instrument its distinctive color.

Update: San Francisco Street Artists (0507-001) on Photoduniya.com
I have written about Jonathan Dyer many times before. He is a familiar face in the city downtown and so is his music. Here is another image of him playing the saxophone to the busy commuters, shoppers and the tourists.

This is shot on Nikon D200 with speedlight SB 600.  It brings the swayings and the turnings of the musician, which is so unique of Jonathan Dyer.

This image is part of the larger collection on San Francisco Street Artists Project featured on Photoduniya.com of Jonathan Dyer. He plays the saxophone in various clubs and joints in the downtown while I have the occasional opportunity of taking his images while he plays at Powell.

Update: San Francisco Street Artists (0507-001) on Photoduniya.com

This is an update posting for photoduniya.com. If you have read the current projects, San Francisco Street Artists (0507-001) is almost coming towards the end of the schedule. So far we met close to fifteen street artists from various parts of San Francisco, from roll and roll groups like that of the Ferocious Few to lone artists like Jonathan and Chen.
