Slowly I am scanning the 300 plus images I shot at the esplanade in San Francisco of the young skating enthusiasts and I am finding that I have more of them that I could post! The hour long I spent was worth sweating in the sun with a 10 pounds camera sitting on my palm! This image is from my test shots on my D200. While I spent an hour with these amazing group of youngsters while they were engrossed in perfecting their art of skating on the Embarcadero promenade. It was 1:00 PM and the sun was bright with the temperature shooting over 75F, but the sweating heat did less to stop these young enthusiasts from trying their acrobats – something worth ranting!
