I have met Xuan quite a few times, taking pictures whenever I can and having a word when he takes a breather from playing. A plump gentleman with an ever smiling face greeting the bystanders. His music is traditional, slightly distorted by the electric amplifier that he carries along.

Nate, or Nathanuel, is a young and promising saxophone player. I met him close to Union Square, entertaining the pedestrians, shoppers and the tourists. A student of Top (or Top Cat), he is quite good at the saxophone. Apart from his school and his full time job, Nate finds time to play the saxophone in various corners of San Francisco.

Violin, or the fiddle as it is also known, is an instrument that eludes to the highest form of melody and music. I met Kippy playing the fiddle on Market street and had quite a variety of tunes to his collection.

Craig with his Clarinet and Saxophone is not new to my readers. I have now known him for about three or four months now. This is the first time where I found Craig in completely different color! More sombre and more serious in his black attire.

Dan Dan is relatively new to the street musician’s group in San Francisco. But needless to say she is an expert with the pipa. The Pipa is a very traditional ancient instrument dating back to about 200 BC. Dan Dan also plays other stringed instruments, however the day I met her in Chinatown, she was entertaining the crowds with her melodious tunes on her pipa.
