I had posted this artist before. He preferred to remain anonymous and puts on a heavy pair of sunglasses to shield his eyes. The images were taken with his permission though.

I did not meet Frank Chu in China Town of San Francisco, but I did meet a china man, who seemed to be tremendously influenced by Frank’s self promotional techniques and proclaimed a busy corner of China Town all to himself and unveiled his Bush bashing.

Since Frank Chu now appears in most of the tourist books including Lonely Planet and Frommer’s as an attraction, this china man was obviously mistaken for him and a constant line of tourists …

Little Italy is a nice place with quite some opportunities to photograph tourists and visitors enjoying the liveliness of music, food and wine. There are several street musicians in and around the place, with one dedicated corner for Craig.

I have begun to like the low light photography. Now a days I am shooting mostly after dark, in either street light or flash, but mostly street lights. The color is hard to balance since the D200 does not measure well below 3500K. However, with a little bit of improvisation, I would be able to work on the casts and yet retain the warmth of the incandescent lights. I still do not manipulate in any of the imaging softwares except for cropping and …

I met Craig and Steven in Little Italy. A few blocks from Market Street, Little Italy is in essence, the spirit of Italians caught with their festivities and a taste for fine dining and wining.
 
Craig plays the clarinet in the usual place and is often joined by Steven and others. They also perform in local music clubs and pubs. Steven plays the guitar, the harmonica and also adds vocals.
