About 9 hours of drive, and about 700 miles East of Cheyenne, WY, we arrived in Council Bluffs, Iowa, about 10 minutes drive from Omaha, Nebraska. We have covered the entire state of Nebraska, East to West, about 550 miles, in about 7 drive hours. The bright sunshine and low winds were especially helpful.

While we call it a night, its about 10:30 PM Central Time and about 13 degrees Fahrenheit. Tomorrow, we head again on I-80 East bound to Illinois, probably reaching Chicago or some place close.

The image was taken on hand held Nikon D200 while driving. The camera was metered on the snow and was set to +1.3 to compensate for the white zone.
