Just over 50, Omer has been in the streets of San Francisco long enough. Traveling all over with his crafted guitar and a pair of Austrian sun glasses, Omer writes his own songs. A popular figure in Valencia, Omer believes that his strength comes from his music. And someday when he will have the money to travel, he would be in Louvers, Paris admiring the amazing paintings.

PO, as he called himself, joined the Dancing Medicine Men in San Francisco. I got the band playing in Powell well after 10:30 PM in the dim light of the cable car station. The band, originally of three, has traveled from Chattanooga, Tennessee. With deep rooted faith in the native culture, the group believes in healing through the music of the drums.

I have written about Craig and his Three Maestros before. The main attraction while walking through the Mission street and it’s neighboring areas is the wall paintings and the murals. Bright colors, immense proportion and an interesting story, all caught by the artist on a 20′ wall.

I am told that the paintings are maintained by several artists and the local art groups. Even the Mission Street Mc Donalds’ walls had the paintings!
