With the sun bright and spring once again back to California, the roads are now seeing an increasing number of convertible and sports cars. The fascinating ones are those that are custom made. This one, in bright yellow color, was spotted in Fremont, California today – a custom built Chevy!

I am a window shopper, spending more time outside the shop looking through the glass windows and viewing the mannequins at various angles. And if I am in a mall, it is quite an effort to window shop at all the showrooms. This image is from my test shots on my D200. While I spent an hour with these amazing group of youngsters while they were engrossed in perfecting their art of skating on the Embarcadero promenade. It was 1:00 PM and the sun was bright with the temperature shooting over 75F, but the sweating heat did less to stop these young enthusiasts from trying their acrobats – something worth ranting!

Back to the tram cars! While I was following this tram car on foot, it’s passengers were nice enough to give me their smiles. It’s true they were enjoying the ride on an “open sleigh”. If you have ever noticed, they still change tracks manually with two people tugging and pushing the cart from one track to another at the end of one leg of its route.
