Update: San Francisco Street Artists (0507-001) on Photoduniya.com

I had posted this artist before. He preferred to remain anonymous and puts on a heavy pair of sunglasses to shield his eyes. The images were taken with his permission though.

The Ehru is a sort of a fiddle and is one of the oldest Chinese stringed instruments thats played with a bow. Ancient Mongolian tribes were also known to have played the Ehru. You could probably place the Ehru in the Huqin (string bowed instruments) family. The one showed here has 2 strings but you could also see Ehrus with 3 strings.

Street candid - San Francisco

The image was taken at quite late in the night, after 10:00 PM and the street lights were fairly obscure. The image was taken with hand held Nikon D200 at about 30mm with a remote flash coupled with an on-camera flash set at – 1.0 ev.
