My earlier posting (So what’s worse than being poor? San Francisco street dweller) drew a lot of comments and opinions on what makes people survive on the streets. Poverty, sickness and sanity rules over reason and petty courtesy. This is however different for different people, for some I have met, have decided for a life on the streets on their own.
