Life on the streets is always hard, always, be in the richest city in the world or the poorest – life on the streets do not change. It’s harsh, unforgiving and relentless, where there is a very thin line between being a human and an animal. For the ones who have a roof on their head and food on their table, it’s hard to imagine that the days are longer and the nights unending when you are fighting for a 5 by 2 feet of space on the foot path.

Streets of San Francisco are no different. When the sun goes down and the glitter of “night life” goes out, the streets are faced with a desperate truth – survival of the fittest.

The above is shot on slow shutter speed to show the movement & desperateness of such a life on the streets. She kept herself busy, probably trying to ignore the world around or the hunger within, by tidying her paraphernalia. But no matter what she did, there were only the agony of silence and the frustration of loneliess around her.
