Oscar Reynolds plays at various festivals in and around San Francisco, as well as various international musical festivals. From his roots deeply impressed in Bolivian music, Oscar carries the core essence of his music through the panpipes, flute and the guitar.

Panpipes, also known as zampoña, and the flute, also known as the quena, are the core instruments of the Karumanta group that Oscar has formed. (Karumanta in Bolivian means “From far away”). Oscar plays the zampoña and the guitar at the same time.

While I find words very inadequate to describe the zampoña tunes, you could listen to small clips on his website. For more information on his music and booking his shows you could write to Anne Reynolds at info @ karumanta.com
