Street hawkers & vendors in New York City
New York City and especially the tourist cramped Times Square and Broadway are full of local sellers and hawkers selling anything from fancy bags to duplicate watches. Although the city administration issues passes for some, many are just trading without a permit. That makes photographing them rather difficult.
In this picture, a group of foreigners see an excellent bargain on 100% cashmere scarves for just 10 bucks. Thats about 6 Euros! Not to mention that most are made out of cheap polyrayon.
